Privacy Policy

The short version

Paldex has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. There is no server that belongs to us, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us. Your collection lives on your device, and — if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read.

What Paldex stores

Paldex records which cards you have marked as collected or favorited, and your app preferences such as which card market you are browsing. That is the entire dataset. It is written to your device's local storage.

The card catalog and every card image ship inside the app itself. Browsing cards requires no network connection and generates no requests.

iCloud sync

Paldex Pro can sync your collection between your devices using Apple's CloudKit. When enabled, your collection is stored in the private database of your personal iCloud account. Apple provides this storage; Day Well Spent LLC has no access to it, cannot read it, and receives no copy of it. Turning sync off, or signing out of iCloud, leaves your collection on the device only.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app whether a purchase is active. We never see or receive your name, payment method, card number, or billing address. For how Apple handles that information, see Apple's own privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. Paldex contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell or share because we collect nothing.

If you install Paldex from the App Store, Apple may share aggregate, anonymized statistics with us — downloads, crashes, and similar — as it does for every developer. Those reports do not identify you.

Contacting us

If you email us from inside the app, your message arrives with your email address, the app version, your device model, and iOS version, so we can reproduce what you are describing. We use it to answer you and nothing else. Email is at sup@daywellspent.io.

Children

Paldex is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to delete on request — clearing your collection is done by deleting the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
